The latest Patch 1.021 of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brought River Raid on PS4 and PS5 on the 16th of Feb 2021. The River Raid is simply a map where you’d raid. The map is only accessed when making the settlement with Vagn by talking. The River Raid has 3 maps in the game where you’ll raid with your crew raiding encampments, farms, monasteries, and villages.

Raiding will yield Foreign Suppliers needed to upgrade the new building in the settlement, or you can use the supplies to buy cosmetic items. The map is River Raid keeps changing along with the rewards. If you’ve raided the map, the next visit will have more reinforcements and varying rewards.

To start the raid, you need to find Vagn by the side of the old dock. The character is market with the quest icon, click on the Icon, and you’ll be on your longboat to raid. Unlocking the 3rd river map requires you to look for St. Georges Clues. Both clues will be found in Escanceaster Monastery and Northern Monastery.

While you’re exploring the locations, be careful about when to start or quit and head back to the base. Being unable to make the right decision leads you to lose the raid’s total rewards and progress. Since the risk of losing progress is there, you need to know how to quit the raid. However, returning is simple in the game, and it’ll take you back to Ravensthorpe.

To get the Exit Menu, press the G button on the PC or Down on D-pad. This will take you to River Raid Status. Select return to the settlement, and you’ll back to the base, safe with the Foreign Supplies.
