Developer Monochrome and Publisher Hatinh Interactive have revealed a new accolades trailer for renowned action and adventure puzzle platformer Tandem: A Tale of Shadows. The game has earned global recognition from players, leading media outlets, and several awards shows for its innovative dual gameplay, jaw-dropping visuals, and haunting atmosphere.
A few of Tandem’s recent honors include MEGAMIGS 2021’s Grand Prix and Best Game Design Awards, Busan Indie Connect Festival 2021’s Excellence in Game Design Award and Bit Summit 2021’s Online Media Highlight Award.
In celebration of Tandem’s success, the developer and publisher have announced that physical and collector’s editions for the title will arrive for PS4 and Switch early next year in partnership with Funstock. Tandem’s collector’s edition will include a physical copy of the game, an exclusive art book, and Emma’s figurine.
Tandem follows a headstrong girl named Emma and a mysterious teddy bear named Fenton to find clues regarding Thomas Kane’s disappearance. Players must alternate between Emma’s top-down view and Fenton’s horizontal side-scroller view to survive Kane’s murderous manor and discover their place in a spellbinding universe filled with twists and turns.

Players will face mechanical toy-like enemies and bosses throughout each dimension. Since Emma’s strategy is passive, players must rely on their wit to move forward.
