Little Nightmares 2 is anything in the horror game genre that you haven’t experience. Besides, the gore and slow chills game are right up to the expectations. While many games are trying to get the hang of horror, Little Nightmares 2 reinvented the horror genre. Where many of the modern games are deliberately avoiding the jumpscare sense.

We have seen Little Nightmares 2 embracing the slow chills and unique mechanism in the gaming genre. You play as a little boy. Mono wanders in the world where a monstrous grownup is roaming. That sure gives a spine-chilling sense of a sudden scene taking on your fear.

The gameplay keeps the balance right most of the time. However, at some point in time, constant exposure to the Evil face scares you no more. Speaking of Evil, the giant monstrous lady teacher with slithering and stretching neck keeps her eye on you to feast on your fear.

Meanwhile, you keep hiding and running, and that the only way that ensures your survival. Although sometimes it does feel like the game is obsessed with a particular monstrous entity. It does seem to be handled smoothly as the now well-recognized monster is changed with the new one.

Intelligent design and low runtime make the game a little more engaging. You might think that game overdoes a couple of things, but the variations at every level fit the unsettling atmosphere. The game does commit to aesthetics well.

The entire game follows an underlit surrounding with a grey and blue hue. It is only the character that gets some light with something horribly weird thing lurking in the shadows. For having such an incredibly amazing experience, you must give the game its due credit.
