Vilhelm sure makes it to the list of best savage survival and exploration game. The gameplay does make the experience worth crediting every single detail. Defeating the bosses sure gives thrilling sensation, and to survive and fight, the only way to get materials is through defeating them.
The victory gives you the necessary source to fight, including the abilities. Among the puny pawns, defeating them doesn’t look much of a challenge unless you summon Moder. Moder means Mother in Nordic language. Summoning the dragon needs you to walk a couple of miles through altering. The story-based events are critical to the defeat of Moder.
Summoning the Moder isn’t as easy as it sounds. You get to the ice-covered peaks, Biome, and the unforgiving nature of mountains is home to wolves and sons of Fenrir. Also, the stone piles are more than just what they appear. Stone golems remain idle/asleep until you enter their territory, so watch your step.
The most amazing feature of Valheim is the game mechanics. The active freezing effect deteriorates HP. You can negate the effect using Lox Cape, Wolf Fur Cape, Wolf Armor Chest, or frost-resistant knead. Using nearest campfires can also reduce the freezing effects, so keep your eyes wide open.
You need resources to make the obsidian arrow, and the nodes appear above the ground. Also, the silver ores are buried under the snow. However, we do need a “Wishbone,” which we get by defeating bone mass. You need to obtain 3 Dragon Eggs and placing them on the sacrificial altar. Remember that the eggs are heavy material and can’t be teleported. So, here is the catch!
You need to obtain a MeggingJord belt that gives you superhuman strength. You can only carry 2 eggs at the sacrificial site. But before all that, you need Vegvisir stone to locate Moder’s location on the map. Get the Vegvisir runestone and interact with it to know the location. Summoning Moder is more of a collective job than doing it all alone, so that’s where teamwork comes. Otherwise, you gotta pack for another trip to bring the egg.
The Alter is a circular structure made of stones with ancient writing. This depicts the Wyverns and Humanoid objects carrying sacrificial victims. You need 3 offering bowls to place the required eggs. The bowls are obtained from the executioner’s block that’s within the structure. Place the eggs and summon the Moder, but get prepared for the battle.
To fight the battle, you need frost-resistant wolf armor and some melee weapon. You can use a Sword or Huntsman bow, but you gotta stock up some arrows to keep fighting.
