The DakotaVerse debuts anew. DC Comics has unveiled the covers along with a couple of preview pages for their upcoming digital-first series bring back some of the beloved characters from Milestone Comics. Check them all out below.
The first set of comics sees the return of fan-favorite Static, along with Hardware and Icon & Rocket. Giving a fresh new rebirth to Milestone Media’s characters, a company founded in 1993 by a coalition of African-American artists and writers, consisting of Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle.
The previously announced Milestone Returns #0: Infinite Edition is available now, reprinting the story released for DC Fandome with 24 additional pages. It tells a re-imagining of the Dakotaverse Big Bang, the Dakota police brutality protest gone wrong that resulted in some of its citizens receiving superpowers.

Milestone Returns #0: Infinite Edition is available now on participating digital platforms, including Comixology, Amazon Kindle, Apple, Madefire, Nook, and others. The 48-page print version arrives in comic book stores on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
