Because taking everything that was ever once animated and turning it into a live-action film is Disney‘s goal right now. And now they have done it with beloved Winnie the Pooh with the new film Christopher Robin. Check out the teaser trailer below.

I don’t know about you but I am ready to venture back into the Hundred Acre Wood. If one thing, this will definitely be a nice introduction of Pooh to a new generation…if the film is good, that is. Hopefully, there are no “cracks”.

An adult Christopher Robin, who is now focused on his new life, work, and family, suddenly meets his old friend Winnie the Pooh, who returns to his unforgotten childhood past to help him return to the Hundred Acre Wood and help find Pooh’s lost friends.

Christopher Robin is directed by Marc Forster, with a screenplay from Tom McCarthy, Alex Ross Perry, and Allison Schroeder. The film is of course based on A. A. Milne’s book Winnie-the-Pooh.

The film stars Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael and Mark Gatiss, along with the voices of Jim Cummings, Chris O’Dowd, Nick Mohammed, Brad Garrett, Peter Capaldi, Sophie Okonedo, and Toby Jones.

Christopher Robin is set to be released on August 3rd, 2018. Who can’t wait to see live-action Eeyore?
