SYFY has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming DC Comics based series – Krypton. Check out all 20 seconds of it below.
The show takes a look at Superman’s grandfather Seyg-El played by Cameron Cuffe as he works to restore honor to the House of El. As it is understood, the series is set approximately 200 years before the time period of the film Man of Steel, whether the show is part of the DC Film Universe is unknown. It will also be interesting to see how they incorporate Adam Strange who is being played by Shaun Sipos.
Synopsis: Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
The series also stars Georgina Campbell, Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Blake Ritson, and Aaron Pierre. The show was developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler.
Syfy has Krypton set to debut sometime in 2018.
