Warner Bros. has given us a first look at something from the upcoming series Titans. What we got was a look at Brenton Thwaites in his Robin costume. Check out the full image below.

The show is being used to help launch Warner Bros. new streaming service and that is where it will air exclusively. It was originally announced that Brenton Thwaites would be playing Nightwing. Whether the character has been changed back to Robin or we will see the change into Nightwing in the series is unknown.

The Robin ‘super suit’ Thwaites  is sporting was designed by costume designer Laura Jean Shannon, whose credits include Black Lightning, Iron Man, and The Jungle Book.

A team of young superheroes led by Nightwing (formerly Batman’s first Robin) form to combat evil and other perils.

Titans is of course based on the comic book series Teen Titans from DC Comics created by writer Bob Haney and artist Bruno Premiani in the pages of The Brave and the Bold #54 in July 1964. They weren’t actually referenced as the Teen Titans until The Brave and the Bold #60. They eventually got their own series with Teen Titans #1 by Haney and artist Nick Cardy.

Besides Thwaites, the series will also star Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, and Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove.

Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti created the series with Akiva Goldsman who co-wrote the pilot with Marc Haimes.

Titans has no set release date yet but is expected to debut sometime in 2018.
