So by now, you have heard the news that Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to face off against Michael Myers one last time. Yes, the star of the original film returns for one more Halloween.
The announcement was made via a Tweet from Blumhouse Productions stating “Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode in HALLOWEEN, released by Universal Pictures October 19, 2018.” Even though the character of Laurie Strode seemingly met her end in the film Halloween: Resurrection..she is back.
We want to know what you think of the idea. Are you happy to see Jamie Lee Curtis return to the franchise? Did you prefer they keep with the rebooted series? Do you not care as long as the movie is well done? Did you want to see a whole new reboot? Maybe you just want to see the film series die altogether. Let us know in the poll or in the comments.
Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Not only does Jamie Lee Curtis return, John Carpenter does also as Executive Producer. The film is being directed by David Gordon Green who co-wrote the film with Danny McBride.
“Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18.” pic.twitter.com/IvptiZctyw
