Netflix and Hasbro have unleashed the first teaser trailer for Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters. You can find it below.
Synopsis: An over-scheduled teenager named Jake Armstrong and his two best friends are accidentally exposed to an experimental chemical and become a team of stretchable superheroes who must work together to expand beyond the confines of their lives and embark on a series of adventures.
The series was designed to have episodic stories that also serialize into a larger plot over the course of the first season’s 26 episodes.
Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters was developed by Kevin Burke, Victor Cook, and Chris “Doc” Wyatt; Burke and Wyatt also wrote a tie-in comic book for IDW Publishing. The series is, of course, based on the toy release by Hasbro in 1976.
The series has quite an impressive voice cast that includes Ogie Banks, Nazneen Contractor, Keith David, Felicia Day, Josh Keaton, Walter Koenig, Scott Menville, Kate Mulgrew, Wil Wheaton, and Steven Yeun
Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters doesn’t have a set release date yet but is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2017.
