Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel film Blade Runner 2049. Check out all the awesomeness that it is below, along with some screenshots.

The film is of course a sequel to the 1892 ‘neo-noir’ science fiction film Blade Runner directed by Ridley Scott. The original movie was an adaption of the 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.

Synopsis: Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 was directed by Denis Villeneuve from a screenplay written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.

The film stars Harrison Ford, who is reprising his role as Rick Deckard, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Mackenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, Carla Juri, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.
