Disney’s Villainous is a perfect blend of Wickedness, Deception, and contemptible plot. The game reinvigorates originality, and the expansions get better with some creative yet unique additions to the roster. Among other board games, Villainous remains the best strategy board game.

The trio has out with “Wicked to the Core,” Evil Comes Prepared,” “Despicable Plot,” and “Perfectly Wretched.” The board games also feature some new characters and are most sought after, like Hades and Scar. The game’s expansions are smart, and their character choices also add more uniqueness to the game. All expansions have a different character to use. However, the only disadvantage we saw that some characters remain complex.

The Despicable Plot turn is the Horned King, seemingly an unusual choice, but an effective one. The liking of offbeat nature makes the gameplay really interesting. The goal is to get your hands on the Cauldron and activate it to raise the undead army. As the ancient dead warriors occupy each square of the board, you win.

The plot requires swapping each card carefully place for the Cauldron Born. In case any opponent meddles with the Cauldron and gets deactivated, you’ll be blocked and lose Cauldron. So, there you need a plan to stay a few steps ahead.

As to “Perfectly Wretched,” it strikes the perfect balance of complexity and easy out on add ons. Everybody gets something whether they’re old to in the line or new. All the characters have specific objects, and that seems easy to understand but actually is difficult.

The board and cards feature painting, creating scenes that add to the premium feel of the game. Cruella, Gothel, Rapunzel, and Pete are central, Pete’s role every board part while Gothel tries to win Rapunzel’s trust. For those who see Villainous as simple, we bet it’s sure more than just a board game.
