While Bloodline 2 is going far away from release, we have another hard gore action but RPG game on the list. The Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood powered on Unreal Engine 4, published by BIGBEN Interactive and Necon.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is a combination of savage fighting and mystical adventure. You play as Cahal, a powerful Garou who goes into exile after losing control of his destructive anger. Although the games looked a little constrained by the budget, the game sure is worth playing with its character and not so RPG mechanics that are complete; if not, “wow” works fine.
The game starts right action where you, along with the pack members, plan to sabotage a fracking site. Later, things go wrong, and you’re sent into the bushes to search for your wife. The characters are a little old, and the graphics work fine, and there no FPS drops while playing. The game starts with some drama and game mechanics set to for the next plot. During the games, most of the areas you’ll come across are small, packed with enemies. So, that where you change the form and make an exit and enter the next area.
You can silent takedown guards, sabotage spawning doors that work as reinforcement. The game becomes more fun when you change form and become a werewolf. You can slide through vents undetected, run faster, deal the damage. The best way to remain stealthy and avoiding conflict is to escape and make your way unseen. But, if you deal with the damage, you transform into a powerful werewolf fighting for combat.
Tearing through the flesh and ripping apart the enemies does looks realistic and fun. Remaining stealthy is the best way to make your way. You can disable turrets with computers or destroying them with a crossbow. The combat appears simple and doesn’t add much of a challenge to the game. Having a quick shot at the game, in my opinion, worth a try.
