While the internet didn’t have a break from Zack Snyder’s Justice League directorial cut, we have got another action-crammed World War Z kinda virus-struck movie from the director. The trailer Army of the Dead just released starring Dave Bautista, previously known for roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Infinity War.
Army of the Dead is Zack Snyder’s first film as a writer and director in the movie. The trailer features a group of armed and combat-capable mercenaries taking on the mission in Vegas to get their hands on cash stashed in a vault. Sneaking into the gambling hub to get their hands on the money and get out of the dead zone safely.
The Zombie heist is co-written by Shay Hatten, Joby Harold, and Zack Snyder. The cast includes Dave Bautista as Scott Ward, Ella Pernell as Kate Ward, Ana De La Reguera as Cruz, Huma Qureshi as Geeta, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hunter bly. Army of the Dead was first announced in 2007 under the co-production of Universal Entertainment and Warner Bros. By 2019, Netflix bought the movie’s rights.
The trailer gives a small modicum from the popular DC Suicide Squad except that nobody here is saving Amanda Waller. But we do have Matthias Schweighofer holding a spiky baseball bat giving the crazy male version of Harley Quinn looks.
Although the release is just a tease, and Snyder’s hold on the story is much more than the trailer’s smattering shot. Furthermore, the trailer doesn’t cover much of the story and central characters in the movie. Yeah, we do have a central route to the plot that strikes a Casino in Las Vegas. Some fashion week’s Sash wearing girls and shirtless guys entering the Casino and munching on an old man.
The movie will be released shortly after Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut. So, mark the 21st of May to watch the Army of the Dead on Netflix.
