It’s been months since the launch of PS5, and the console has already made millions of units sold. On the 25th of February, “State of the Play” announced major updates of previously released titles and a new release. We had the hyped to release the most anticipated titles that include Ratchet and Clank, Rif Apart, and other action and role-playing games.
However, the event didn’t turn much for us, but that doesn’t mean everyone! The event briefs fan expectation for updates for 10 games, a new reveal, and updates including the 3rd party games and some indie titles.
Sony announces No Hardware
For those looking for PS hardware, they don’t seem in luck. As announced by SONY, there won’t be any PS hardware coming. However, we do have some free upgrades of PS4 versions to PS5 versions and major upgrades. Speaking of upgrades, Toys for Bob’s Crash Bandicoot 4 is getting a 4K resolution upgrade and 60 frames per second with an activity card and DualSense functionality.
Returnal
The upgrade list includes Knockout city, solar Ash, Sifu, and Returnal. Returnal is set to be released on April 30, 2021. The game takes you to tentacle monsters world, exploring caves to solve the mystery. What unique about the game is that the monsters you have fought previously and the maps keep changing if you die. That seems like a different time loop.
Oddworld Soulstorm
Oddworld Soulstorm is another featured platform game with knowledgeable mechanics. You play as protagonist Abe, freeing your enslaved fellows and using them to solve the puzzle and complex maps. The game is expected to arrive on April 6, and PS 5 users will be getting free updates to the game. The DualSense functionality augments players’ experience by allowing them to feel the heartbeats and stress levels.
