Bravely Default 2 could be as RPG as it gets. Besides the Japanese RPG, reviews have mixed reactions making the game hard to match with its predecessor. The RPG genre of the game has something new and something old of the traditional RPG elements.

The grinding element in the game makes you feel confused, but a few amazing features make the job easier. Bravely Default 2 offers a similar capacity and environment to play. The current version includes similar depth and details with an interesting story for those who have played earlier versions.

What’s New in Bravely Default 2

The gameplay is like the dragon quest series, where you’ll lead a team of Heroes. Saving the world from the disaster using the elemental crystal. The game mechanics are fantastic, but if you’re someone who fancies deep storytelling, Bravely Default 2 doesn’t work that way. Given the game architecture, the most amazing part of Bravely Defaults 2 is, not one strategy fits all the situations.

The battle and job system allows players to decide when to stop and when to use their turns. The job system is empowering for making the game character more adaptable and gives customization capability to create own experience.

The job system works amazingly and makes the gameplay a little more complex, unlike other RPGs’ where the character is restricted into the class. Bravely Default’s job system allows you to add abilities and strength to the base stats’ character.

Characters also get job levels, and you can upgrade the abilities of the character, which can be assigned regardless of the existing job. Also, you can get more than magical buffs, including Monk’s Knuckle combat ability that turns the fist into a powerful weapon. The mixing of abilities is fun, and you can use the abilities to guard your teammate whose health is low and initiate a counter-attack with passive ability. However, that’s still dependent on the situation at hand.
