DC Timeline faces Consistent Push
Brace yourselves, as 2021 is going to take over the big screen! From new DC movies and TV Series to Video Games, your favorite superheroes and villains will be soon on all your screens. The timeline of DC is going under major overhaul due to the ongoing Pandemic.
Most of the movies have been pushed ahead in the timeline including The Batman which was due to release on 1st Oct 2021. Similarly, the future release of The Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman 2 have all been pushed to 2022. Despite the current pandemic that halted production and brought the industry to stand still, we’ll be able to see DC Comics and TV series.
Justice League Synder’s Cut
The anticipated Synder Cut of the Justice League film will be available for streaming on HBO Max and BluRay. The fan campaign started to push WB to release Synder’s cut which was halted due to a tragedy that struck Zack Synder’s family. The movie is expected to be released in March 2021. This 4 part mini-series will be aired on HBO Max featuring the old cast of the Justice League. Following the production, some of the scenes will be taken from the theatrical cut while other scenes are freshly shot.
The Suicide Squad
The Suicide Squad has also made it to the release list. The film is directed by James Gunn and is a sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad. We’ll be seeing the return of Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Joel Kinnaman (Col Rick Flag), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
The crime-fighting squad will be joined with some bizarre DC characters known as Polka Dot Man, BloodSport, and King Shark. These Rogue criminals have been seen in movies and games. Once released in theaters, fans will also be able to watch the streaming of Suicide Squad for a controlled period of 30 days. What’s noteworthy here is James Gunn’s early warning about taking out the character to maintain the spirit of comics.
Get Ready for Your Favorite Season
2021 is full to the brim as the seasons will be out in 2021. Although we don’t have a definite release date, your favorite seasons will definitely be on the screen. Legends of Tomorrow season 6 will be all about the cosmic hunt. Season 5 ended with the White Canary being kidnapped by aliens. So, buckle up as this cosmic extraction is going to be thrilling
Similarly, Supergirl Season-6 is expected to be released in mid-2021. Whereas, Superman and Lois Season-1 will be aired on Feb 2021. Alongside seasons and Movies, fans will also be seeing the “Gotham Knights” with playable characters taking the lead after Batman’s death.
