Via IGN, the first trailer for the DC Universe animated film Wonder Woman: Bloodlines has arrived. You can find the action-packed video below.
To be quite honest, the trailer has very much the same feel of the Wonder Woman animated film that was released in 2009. From the looks of it, it is the age-old tale of Wonder Woman meets Steve Trevor and the go off on a fantastic mission together. Maybe one day DC Entertainment will release that there are many many more stories about the Amazon Princess they could adapt.
In Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, Amazon princess Diana of Themyscira chooses to save fighter pilot Steve Trevor and return him to his home in America – setting in motion one of Wonder Woman’s most captivating chapters. Fulfilling the role of both ambassador as well as protector, Diana soon earns the name Wonder Woman from the gracious people of Earth. Equally strong in body, heart and will, she makes it her mission to help a troubled young girl enlisted by a deadly organization known as Villainy, Inc., whose criminal members have their sights set on invading Themyscira, Diana’s paradise home.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines stars Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jeffrey Donovan as Steve Trevor, Adrienne Moore as Etta Candy, Nia Vardalos as Julia Kapatelis and Cree Summer as Hippolyta, as well as Marie Avgeropoulos as Silver Swan, Kimberly Brooks as Cheetah/Giganta, Michael Dorn as Ferdinand, Ray Chase as Lead Bandit, Mozhan Marno as Dr. Cyber, Courtenay Taylor as Dr. Poison and Constance Zimmer as Veronica Cale.
No exact release date has been given for Wonder Woman: Bloodlines but it is expected sometime this year.
