Every day I thank the Universe that Uncork’d Entertainment came into existence. How could you not, with films like DOLLS with Dee Wallace and The Basement with Mischa Barton…how could you not. Well, it looks like they have grabbed the distribution rights to another “fun” (cue evil laughter) film called Blindsided. Check out the trailer for it below as well as the poster.

The film screams Scream. Only this time they use a blind girl as the hero it looks like. While the overall concept of the story isn’t new, the trailer makes the film look like it could be a quite entertaining tale. With a blind woman as the hero, I am so curious how it will end. We shall remain hopeful.

A protege of her father’s, passing through town, also spends the night. The peaceful weekend is interrupted by a shadowy threat and the safe country getaway turns into a fight for survival.

The film comes out of Cananda via director Johnny Mitchell. Mitchell also co-wrote the film with Brandon Tataryn and Brad Wetherly.
