Epix has given the world a full trailer for their upcoming DC Comics related series Pennyworth. Check it out below along with a new poster.
Pennyworth follows the Wayne family’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, the man who would become the guardian of Batman. Alfred is a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne in 1960s London.
The series is executive produced by Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon who say the show will have an Ian Fleming influence (via SYFY WIRE) as well an alternate universe version of England. It will definitely be interesting to see what that means.
The series stars Jack Bannon as the titular character, alongside Ben Aldridge, Ryan Fletcher, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Paloma Faith, and Jason Flemyng.
Epix has Pennyworth set to premiere on July 28th, 2019…will you be tuning in?
