The trailer for Netflix’s ‘Next gen’ will make you want a robot best friend.

From a Quiet Place to being the new Jack Ryan, John Krasinski is everywhere this year. And now his voice is in the new Netflix original animated film Next Gen. Check out a trailer for it below. There’s even a talking dog.

In a world where people treat the next generation of robots like some people use to camp for the next generation of iPhone. Krasinski plays 7723, an extremely advanced robot that befriends a girl and then he must save her and the world. It looks really good actually.

A friendship with a top-secret robot turns a lonely girl’s life into a thrilling adventure as they take on bullies, evil bots, and a scheming madman.

Next Gen was written and directed by Kevin R. Adams and Joe Ksander. 

Besides Krasinski, the film also stars Jason Sudeikis, Michael Pena, David Cross, and Constance Wu.

Next Gen is set to arrive on Netflix September 7th, 2018.
