What’s the best news that could come out of the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. How about the return of the series? That’s right, during SDCC Disney announced it is reviving the fan favorite show via its forthcoming streaming service.

The Clone Wars ran for five seasons at Cartoon Network from 2008 to 2013, in March 2013, Disney canceled the series, and the 6th Season of the series was moved over to Netflix in the spring of 2014. The series took place between the films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Disney then went on to create a new animated series – Rebels and now they have the upcoming Resistance series.

Who will be returning to lend their voices is still unclear. However, from the trailer they released, it seems clear the shows top three voices are coming back aka Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano.

There’s no word on when this twelve episode run of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will begin but of course we will keep you posted.
