10tons Ltd. is bringing their top-down twin-stick shooter Tesla vs Lovecraft to the PlayStation 4. If you are a fan of shooters…this is one you should definitely check out.
The game has been out on Steam since January. The gameplay is frantic and intense while you take on hordes of Lovecraftian monsters in your Tesla-Mech. I have played it. It is wicked fun.
You are Nikola Tesla, world-famous inventor, and genius extraordinaire. At the eve of your greatest invention, your laboratory is burned down by the horror author H.P. Lovecraft, who claims that your actions have put the world in peril. With the help of his occult book and a vast army of monsters, he has stolen your most precious inventions!
Tesla vs Lovecraft sees the player assume the role of the cult famous inventor Nikola Tesla. He is at odds with horror author H.P. Lovecraft and must fight the eldritch monsters the fiction writer has summoned. The player gets to use all kinds of cool gadgets, including the Quantum Teleport backpack for short distance teleporting, and the Tesla-Mech battle robot for a massive boost in firepower. A full arsenal of conventional and scifi weapons, powerups, special abilities, and selectable perks is also present.
”We’re excited to bring Tesla vs Lovecraft to PlayStation 4! The game’s intense twin-stick shooting action is a perfect fit for PlayStation 4, and we have every reason to expect the game to do great on the platform,” says Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons.
