SYFY has released a new featurette for their upcoming series Krypton. It gives us our first look at our first live-action version of Brainiac…and it is awesome! Check it out below.
The Collector of Worlds looks absolutely terrifying. They even give us his iconic skull ship. This version of Brainiac is very heavily based on the Geoff Johns and Gary Frank version of the character from the comics. One wonders if this will be the story of when Brainiac acquires Kandor.
Synopsis: Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
The series stars Cameron Cuffe, Georgina Campbell, Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Blake Ritson, and Aaron Pierre. Shaun Sipos will also be playing Adam Strange.
The show was developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler.
Syfy has Krypton set to debut sometime in 2018.
