Sony has released the first teaser trailer for the next film based on the Marvel Universe – Venom. Check it out below.
The video gives the film a sort of psychological thriller feel and doesn’t give us a whole lot in terms of special effect or action. This is the first trailer for the film though. When it comes to storyline, the trailer gives us nothing.
The Venom film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The character made his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #300 in May 1988.
Venom is being directed by Ruben Fleischer, from a screenplay written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel.
The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, and Reid Scott. It’s also rumored Tom Holland might make an appearance.
