Christmas is just around the corner…which means it is time for another Doctor Who Christmas Special. Cause the holiday wouldn’t be complete without it. The BBC has released a clip for this years and you can check it out below.
This year’s special, titled “Twice Upon a Time” and will also serve as a regeneration episode making it even more special this holiday season. The special will be the exit of actor Peter Capaldi who has been amazing as the 12th Doctor. Then, for the first time, the Doctor will regenerate into a female — the 13th Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker.
In the clip, we get to see Capaldi’s 12th Doctor meet David Bradley aka the First Doctor. As always, no Doctor likes the others decorating style. This is Bradley’s second time portraying the First Doctor who was originally played by William Hartnell.
The 2017 Doctor Who Christmas Special was written by Steven Moffat and directed by Rachel Talalay.
Doctor Who Christmas Special is set to air on the BBC Christmas Day December 25th, 2017.
