While at Jet City Comic Show award-winning artist Jeffery Veregge took some time to join me on the main stage for #JetCityLive. We talked about some of his latest and upcoming projects and Native American representation in today’s media. The man has done work for Marvel, Valiant and IDW Publishing. He is even designing a park but I will let him tell you all about that himself in the video down below.
I can personally say that I am a fan of his work. So much that I have some of his artwork tattooed on my arm. He is a member of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe in Kingston, Washington.
Jeffery’s style has garnered a lot of attention lately and with just cause. The way he mixes Native American influence into some of the biggest things in today’s pop culture is absolutely amazing.
Keep an eye out for Jeffrey’s creator-owned 6 issue comic series: ‘Demicon‘ published by Native Realities Press.
