Paramount Pictures has released a fun new trailer for the film Downsizing. Check it out below.
The new video gives us are best look at the movie and it’s plot so far. The trailer hints at something much ‘bigger’ going on. As they state in the film, something ‘top secret’. I will say, if I can take $100,000 and make it into $12 Million by shrinking myself…yeah, I would.
Premise: When scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall as a solution to over-population, Paul and his wife Audrey decide to abandon their stressed lives in order to get small and move to a new downsized community – a choice that triggers life-changing adventures.
This science fiction comedy-drama was directed by Alexander Payne who co-wrote the film with Jim Taylor. The film had successful premiere at the 74th Venice Film Festival on August 30th.
The film has a star-studded cast that includes Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, Jason Sudeikis, Laura Dern, Alec Baldwin, Neil Patrick Harris and Margo Martindale.
Downsizing is set to be released in the U.S. on December 22nd, 2017.
