Universal Pictures has finally released the first trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising. Check out all the Jaeger action below.
The trailer debuted at NYCC and packs quite a punch. We get tons of action in terms of Jaeger vs Kaiju and even Jaeger vs Jaeger. Who is ready for the Kaiju apocalypse?
Synopsis: It has been 7 years since the Battle of the Breach and the oceans are still, but restless. Vindicated by the victory at the Breach, the Jaeger program has evolved into the most powerful global defense force in human history. The PPDC now calls upon the best and brightest to rise up and become the next generation of heroes when the Kaiju threat returns. Into this is thrust ex-jaeger pilot Jake Pentecost, son of the late Stacker Pentecost, who is given a chance by his adopted sister, Mako Mori to unite with the world and fellow Jaeger pilots to prevent humanity’s extinction.
Pacific Rim: Uprising is directed by Steven S. DeKnight who developed the story with T.S. Nowlin, the co-wrote the screenplay with Nowlin, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder.
The film stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Adria Arjona, Jing Tian, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman.
Pacific Rim: Uprising is scheduled to hit theaters March 23rd, 2018.
