The game publisher Ukuza, along with indie developer David Stanley, has released a new demo for Skelattack! They also released a new 90’s themed trailer giving us some gameplay footage. Check it out below.
The 2D action platformer has a bunch of new content to show off in its newest playable demo. There is a ton of new NPCs, plus updated and unfamiliar environments.
For centuries, mankind has traveled the land to raid dungeons for riches and glory. This is not their story. You are Skully, an enchanted skeleton, living in the deepest part of the dungeon. You awaken to the terrible sound of the Alarm Bell, letting you know that intruders have been seen within the dungeon. Joined by your helpful bat companion Imber and armed with magic, you exit into the sewers of the dungeon, sword in hand, to begin your quest. Why are they here? No intruders can be left alive to tell of this place.
In Skelattack‘s new demo, players will get their first crack at a new environment known as “The Greenery”, a lush subterranean forest full of exciting obstacles and malevolent enemies. They will also encounter some new story-enhancing NPCs offering up fresh world-building dialogue.
Players will then be able to access “The Hub”, a room which will offer entry to all other areas of the game. Here, one will also find a newly refurbished death counter, opportunities to swap off and try new magic spells, and a blacksmith all too eager to show off his wares.
Skelattack is slated for a full release on January 19th, 2018. Click here and download the demo.
