Columbia and Sony Pictures has dropped a new trailer for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and it is pretty entertaining.
As we live and breath reboots and revivals right now, this new video gives a little hope. It also gives a feeling of nostalgia…even though this film has like nothing to do with the original Jumanji starring Robin Williams.
Synopsis: In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever, to be played by others without break.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. It is being produced by Columbia Pictures.
The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is set to hit theaters December 22nd, 2017. You ready for safari?
