Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for the film – Downsizing. The film takes a new look at a way to help with an Earth that is becoming over populated.
This science fiction comedy-drama was directed by Alexander Payne who also co-wrote the film with Jim Taylor. The film premiered at the 74th Venice Film Festival on August 30th. A full trailer for the film is expected to come out September 12th.
“Downsizing” follows a kindly occupational therapist who undergoes a new procedure to be shrunken to four inches tall so that he and his wife can help save the planet and afford a nice lifestyle at the same time.
The film has an amazing cast that includes Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, Jason Sudeikis, Laura Dern, Alec Baldwin, Neil Patrick Harris and Margo Martindale.
Downsizing is set to be released in the U.S. on December 22nd, 2017.
