PlayStation has released a launch trailer for the second season of Telltale‘s Batman series titled – Batman: The Enemy Within. Check it out below.
The video features what looks to be a very dark version of The Riddler. He almost feels like a hybrid of Edward Nigma from FOX’s Gotham and Jigsaw from the Saw films. (Is The Riddler’s hood bothering anyone else?) We also get a peek at Amanda Waller and see the Joker take a selfie with Bruce Wayne.
In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?
Batman: The Enemy Within will be a standalone product separate from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series. Troy Baker returns to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne.
Episode 1 of the 5 part Batman: The Enemy Within, titled The Enigma, is available for download on August 8th, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac, and will become available on iOS and Android devices later this year.
