During SDCC, CBS dropped a new trailer for Star Trek: Discovery. The trailer is, even more, epic than the last one. check it out below.
The promo gives us a ton of new footage including Rainn Wilson as Harry Mudd. A perfect casting, I am betting. We also get our first look at Jason Isaacs as Captain Lorca
Premise: Set roughly ten years before the events of the original Star Trek, the series follows the crew of the USS Discovery as they discover new worlds and civilizations while exploring the franchise’s signature contemporary themes. The season-long storyline revolves around “an incident and an event in Star Trek history that’s been talked about but never been explored.
Star Trek: Discovery was created by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman. Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts serve as showrunners for the show and Akiva Goldsman is a supporting producer.
The series stars Michelle Yeoh, Sonequah Martin-Green, Jason Isaacs, Doug Jones, James Frain, and Anthony Rapp.
