A new teaser has popped up for Netflix‘s next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – The Defenders. It, of course, can be found below.
The video has a great and inspiring narration from Stan Lee. The most fun part of the promo is the cameo at the end. It leaves one to speculate…will Frank Castle/The Punisher be making an appearance in the series.
Set a few months after the events of the second season of Daredevil, the vigilantes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up in New York City to fight a common enemy in The Hand.
The Defenders was developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez, with S. J. Clarkson, Cindy Holland, Drew Goddard, Jim Chory, Jeph Loeb, Douglas Petrie, and Marco Ramirez serving as executive producers.
The series stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, and Élodie Yung.
The Defenders will consist of eight episodes and is scheduled to premiere August 18th, 2017.
