Disney XD has released the main title theme for the reboot of DuckTales. If you watched the original like me…it will fill you with all kinds of nostalgia. It is basically the original song just a new version. The also gave us a new poster and the release dates. Find it all below.
DuckTales will premiere with a one-hour television movie that will run for 24 consecutive hours August 12th, 2017. Then, the series will debut with two new episodes September 23rd, 2017. Each epsiode will also be available on the Disney XD app and Disney XD VOD the same day.
Based on the Emmy Award-winning series treasured by a generation of viewers, Disney XD’s animated comedy-adventure series “DuckTales” chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack, no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.
The series stars the voice talent of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye, Kate Micucci and Tony Anselmo. DuckTales was developed by Matt Youngberg.
The first season will consist of 21 half-hour episodes and two hour-long specials. The show is already set for a second season.
Can we just get a revival of the entire Disney Afternoon.
