Spike TV has releasesd a featurette for their adaptation of Stephen King‘s novella The Mist. The video gives us a look into how they crafted the story into a series. Sounds as though the show will be very character driven.
The series was created by Christian Torpe for Spike and produced by Dimension Television. The first season will consist of 10 episodes.
Premise: An unexplained mist slowly envelopes the city of Bridgton, Maine, creating an almost impenetrable cloak of visibility. The residents of the town soon learn the situation is even more precarious as hidden within the mist are numerous monsters of various sizes that attack and kill anything that moves.
The adaptation stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and Frances Conroy.
The Mist is scheduled to premiere on June 22nd, 2017. Will you be tuning in?
