Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios has announced a new expansion for Neverwinter – Tomb of Annihilation. Check out the teaser for it below.
This is the 12th expansion to the game. It is set to bring new content including the Tomb of Annihilation campaign, with end-game dungeon, monster hunts with the legendary Volothamp, a jungle adventure zone inhabited by dinosaurs and a new social hub for weary travelers.
Neverwinter’s marquee expansion for 2017 brings death to Faerûn in the form of a mysterious curse. Adventurers will lead a large expedition to the faraway land of Chult, where they will explore a new jungle zone, experience heroic encounters with undead and discover the source of the death curse ravaging Faerûn in a new campaign.
For those who may not know – Neverwinter is a free-to-play action MMORPG based on Dungeons & Dragons that features fast-paced combat and epic dungeons. Players explore the vast city of Neverwinter and its nearby lands, learning the vivid history of the Forgotten Realms while battling its many enemies. Neverwinter is available on PC and is free to play digitally on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Neverwinter: Tomb of Annihilation will arrive on PC July 25th, 2017 and on Xbox One and Playstation 4 some time later.
