A first look at the new Disney XD series Marvel’s Spider-Man

Disney XD has released a clip giving us our first look at the new Marvel’s Spider-Man animated series. Check it out below.

The series is a replacement for the highly successful Ultimate Spider-Man, which ended in January of 2017. The show is obviously being rebooted to fit more with the new movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Synopsis: An insecure but courageous and intelligent teen named Peter Parker, a new student of Horizon High, is bitten by a radioactive spider and given powers. He becomes a hero named Spider-Man after the death of his uncle and he must adapt to this new way of life.

The series is based on the Spider-Man comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The show is being produced by Jeph Loeb and Joe Quesada for Marvel Animation.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is set to premiere on Disney XD sometime during the summer of 2017. Will you be watching?
