The first official trailer has been released via Youtube for Landing Lake, EurObscura‘s horror/sci-fi film, that is so bad it definitely has the potential to be good. The film was recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2017, and as cheesy as the trailer was there’s no telling what kind of reviews this film will get.
When a technical team is sent to repair a communication station they quickly realise that something may be coming from the nearby lake that is affecting their minds. As they lose their inhibitions their most primal desires take hold. It seems that only one of the team is permitted to bond with the unseen entity and so be reborn in a new body. A terrifying game of strategy not to survive, but rather to die with the promise of life anew.
Landing Lake is directed and written by Cesare P. Libardi di K. The film is produced by Filmblast.
Starring in Landing Lake are Victoire Vecchierini, Emma Brown, Aaron Stielstra, Phil Zimmerman, Franck Assi, Lee Ravitz, and Joanna-Leigh Hewitt.
There is no theatrical release date scheduled for Landing Lake as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
