HBO has released the first full trailer for the 7th season of Game of Thrones. Check out the video below along with some screen shots.
‘The Great War’ is definitely coming. The trailer gives us plenty of scenes of huge battles from what looks to be all armies. One wonders what the death count will be this season.
Synopsis: In the mythical continent of Westeros, several powerful families fight for control of the Seven Kingdoms. As conflict erupts in the kingdoms of men, an ancient enemy rises once again to threaten them all. Meanwhile, the last heirs of a recently usurped dynasty plot to take back their homeland from across the Narrow Sea.
The seventh season of Game of Thrones will largely consist of original content that isn’t found in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Season 7 does adapt material from the upcoming sixth and seventh novels The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring
The series has a tremendous ensemble cast, including Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington. Season 7 also introduces new cast members Jim Broadbent and Tom Hopper.
Game of Thrones Season 7 is scheduled to premiere with its 7-episode run on July 16, 2017. Is a girl ready?
