Amazon has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming revival of The Tick via Youtube, and while it gives absolutely nothing away it certainly does it’s job of getting the fans excited.
The Tick is based on Tick by Ben Edlund, and a revival of the 2001 first live-action adaptation of The Tick.
In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with zero powers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero.
The Tick is directed by Romeo Tirone, Sheree Folkson, Lev L. Spiro, Wally Pfister, with screenplay by Ben Edlund.
The Tick stars are Richie Moriarty, Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Jackie Earle Haley, Yara Martinez, Kyle Catlett, Joanna Adler, Malachi Weir, Christian Navarro, Whoopi Goldberg, Andrew Dolan, Sonam Kunlingtse, Henry Yuk, Berto Colon, Siraj Huda and Meredith Forlenza.
The Tick premieres on Amazon Prime Video August 25, 2017.
