Universal Pictures has released the second official Atomic Blonde trailer via Youtube recently and there is no denying that Charlize Theron will forever be a total badass. Hell hath no fury like a top-level MI6 spy who’s secret undercover agent boyfriend was just murdered.
Atomic Blonde was based on the graphic novel The Coldest City by Anthony Johnston. It had its world premiere at South by Southwest in March, 2017.
An undercover MI6 agent is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.
Atomic Blonde is directed by David Leitch, with script by Kurt Johnstad. The film is being produced by A.J. Dix, Eric Gitter, Beth Kono, Kelly McCormick, Peter Schwerin, and Charlize Theron.
Starring in Atomic Blonde will be Charlize Theron, James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella, and Toby Jones.
Atomic Blonde is scheduled for theatrical premiere on July 28, 2017.
