We all know the story, and we’ve all seen the other various live-action adaptations that have sprung up throughout the years, but now Netflix has released a new teaser for its own long anticipated version of Death Note and it looks amazing. Check out the trailer below:
Death Note is directed by Adam Wingard, with screenplay by Charles Parlapanides, Vlas Parlapanides, and Jeremy Slater. The film is produced by Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Jason Hoffs and Masi Oka.

Death Note stars Nat Wolff, Margaret Qualley, Keith Stanfield, Paul Nakauchi, Shea Whigham, Willem Dafoe, and Masi Oka.
Death Note is scheduled to premiere August 25, 2017.
