While this is a far cry from Disney‘s original 1989 film of the same name, there’s no denying the magic of Conglomerate Media and Kingsway Productions‘ upcoming film The Little Mermaid. However, there’s no denying that this film has a pretty high standard to uphold, thanks to what could be an unfortunate choice of name, so here’s to hoping we’re not disappointed. The Little Mermaid was directed by Chris Bouchard and Blake Harris, with script by Hans Christian Andersen and Blake Harris. The film is being produced by Armando Gutierrez and Robert Molloy.
Starring in The Little Mermaid will be Shirley MacLaine, Gina Gershon, William Moseley, Poppy Drayton, William Forsythe, Diahann Carroll, Jared Sandler, Loreto Peralta, Jo Marie Payton, Shanna Collins, Lexy Kolker, Tom Nowicki, Armando Gutierrez, Hunter Gomez, Claire Ryann, Antares Davis, Jody Thompson and Melissa Collazo.
The Little Mermaid is scheduled to premiere in summer of 2017.
