Relic Entertainment and Sega have delivered a new trailer for the real-time strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III and it is EPIC! You can check it out below. The video gives us our first look at large-scale battles for the game.
There is also a companion four-part comic book mini-series for the game written by Ryan O’Sullivan (Turncoat, Eisenhorn, Xenos), and illustrated by Daniel Indro (Vikings: Uprising, Doctor Who).
It’s a race to the pointy stikk as Gabriel Angelos, Farseer Macha, and Gorgutz ‘Ead’unter command their massive armies in a search for a mythical weapon that can control the fate of their races! With the Space Marines, Eldar, and Orks all hunting for the same treasure, there’s only one thing they’re certain to find – war.
Fiery skies shall light the way
Blood shall spill over the wandering world
The spear of Khaine shall call the wayfarers
And the storm prince shall unite them.
Synopsis: A “catastrophic weapon,” known as the Spear of Khaine, is discovered on the planet Acheron, and three forces converge on the planet – the Blood Ravens Space Marines under legendary commander Gabriel Angelos, the Eldar led by Farseer Macha, and an Ork horde led by Warlord Gorgutz.
There is still no set release date yet for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, however it is expected out some time this year. We will keep you posted.
