The fictional town made famous in Stephen King‘s novels known as Castle Rock is now to become a TV series of it’s own. King will again partner with J.J. Abrams and Hulu to produce the new series. Check the teaser trailer below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Castle Rock will be an anthology series that “weaves together characters and themes from those novels that use the Castle Rock location.” Castle Rock has been the home of many of King’s novels and characters like Annie Wiles from Misery, Danny Torrance from The Shining and John Coffey and Mr. Jungles from The Green Mile.
This is the second collaboration between Abrams and King for Hulu. The first partnership brought us the time-traveling mini-series 11.22.63 that starred James Franco. The series was based on King’s novel 11/22/63 and received pretty favorable reviews.
No date has been announced yet as to when Castle Rock will air, but we will keep you posted. So who is excited for this series?
