The 2016 French psychological thriller Personal Shopper starring Kristen Stewart is getting a U.S. theatrical release thanks to IFC Films. Check out the UK trailer below, where it also getting a theatrical release via Les Films du Losange. The film originally premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
After a successful collaboration on 2014’s Clouds of Sils Maria, director Olivier Assayas reunites with star Kristen Stewart in this drama about a young woman working as a personal shopper to an egotistical celebrity in Paris. While spending much of her time buying expensive clothes and jewelry for Kyra Nora von Waldstätten, Stewart’s Maureen is also a spiritual medium trying to make contact with her deceased twin brother who recently died of a congenital heart condition that she also shares. ~ Rovi
Personal Shopper was written and directed by Olivier Assayas and produced by Charles Gillibert. Starring in the film is Kristen Stewart, Lars Eidinger, Sigrid Bouaziz, Anders Danielsen Lie, Ty Olwin, Hammou Graia, Nora von Waldstatten, Benjamin Biglay, Audrey Bonnet and Pascal Rambert.
Personal Shopper is scheduled to premiere in the states on March 10th, 2017.
