An action-packed final red-band trailer for The Shape of Water.

Fox Searchlight Pictures has released yet another new red-band trailer for the fantasy film directed by Guillermo del Toro – The Shape of Water. It is apparently also the final trailer for the film. Check it out below.

This new video that came via Facebook, has a lot more action compared to previous trailers. There is a ton of new footage and probably our best look yet of Doug Jones as the films ‘fish man’.

Synopsis: In 1962, a mute janitor and her colleague work in a government laboratory and eventually discover an amphibious man in a water tank. The janitor, out of loneliness, befriends the creature. A princess without voice. A love beyond words. And the monster that tried to destroy it all.

The Shape of Water was screened in the main competition section of the 74th Venice International Film Festival where it was awarded the Golden Lion for best film in the competition. It also won the C. Smithers Foundation Award, Future Film Festival Digital Award and the Soundtrack Stars Award. Wonder what awards it will win once it hits theaters.

The film stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Octavia Spencer. The film was written by del Toro and Vanessa Taylor.

The Shape of Water opens in movie theaters on December 8th, 2017.
