The Gotham By Gaslight trailer brings you the Victorian Batman.

The video clocks in at 8 & half minutes long and gives us a pretty in depth look at the story of Gotham By Gaslight and how the creators brought the adaptation of the 1980’s comic to life.

Synopsis: In an age of mystery and superstition, how would the people of Gotham react to a weird creature of the night, a bat-garbed vigilante feared by the guilty and the innocent alike? The very first Elseworlds tale reimagines the Dark Knight detective in Victorian times and pits him against the infamous murderer Jack the Ripper.

Gotham by Gaslight was a DC Comics one-shot by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola. A sequel was made in 1991 titled Master of the Future which was also written by Augustyn, with art by Eduardo Barreto. Gotham by Gaslight is considered to be the first Elseworlds story, where DC Comics heroes get taken from their usual setting and put into alternate timelines or realities.

The only cast listed so far Jennifer Carpenter who portrays Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.

Batman: Gotham By Gaslight is expected sometime is 2018. When we get a set date we will let you know.
